The ToolBed
service was designed as a software tool specifically for hand and
machine tool manufacturers, dealers and customers. However, other
objects may be added in a similar manner. Please contact us in every
case. Flexibility is our strength! |

To register as a new customer click on
[New Customer] on the Log-in
page, fill out the required information and click [Submit].
Please
note that new customer accounts are not setup automatically by our
system. We will contact you as soon as possible.

minimum purchase order quantity. Quantities start at 1 customized ToolBed. Please contact us

Yes, ToolBed
offers an optional full service, customized products for our customers. Just tell us what type, size,
colour, and tool
contours you want and we will customize the layout to fit the selected
tools and size. We charge a small flat rate for each design. |

Our database
is extended frequently. Several thousand tool contours are currently saved in
the ToolBed database. We are eager to collect the data of as
many tools from as many manufactures as possible. Please contact us for
detailed information. |

If a tool
contour is not found in the ToolBed database, it is possible to
send the tool to have us capture and save the data permanently. We
will only charge you the shipping for digitizing common branded hand tools
(terms and conditions apply).

It is no
problem to save contours of other objects, not tools, in the ToolBed
database if needed by our customers and if smaller than length 1200mm,
width 400mm, and height 200mm. Please contact us in this case. |

Pricing of
each ToolBed will be calculated automatically after designing the
layout. Because each ToolBed is customized, the prices vary. We charge a
small flat rate for the optional full service. Our pricelist can be

The size of
each ToolBed can be individually chosen. That means that every drawer,
box, or case available can be equipped with an individual ToolBed. The
maximum size is limited to width 1500mm and depth 1000mm. |

ToolBed
customers have the choice between two different foam heights. The less
expensive type 18MM is made from two layers. It includes one layer with
cut-outs.
Type 31MM is made from three layers. Type 31MM includes two layers with
different cut-outs.

ToolBeds are
made from medium density multilayer polyethylene (PE) foams in a variety
of colours, which are resistant to most environmental influences. |

To maintain
your ToolBed, we recommend cleaning it frequently using hygienic wipes.
Avoid contact with dangerous chemicals. |

In addition to
Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer
(6 up) the ToolBedView software ActiveX plug-in
must be installed.
JavaScript and ActiveX must be
activated (standard). We recommend the installation of all
available Microsoft updates.
ToolBed
also recommends using a highspeed internet connection (i.e. DSL or cable
modem). |

The plug-in is a
software extension for Microsoft Internet Explorer which allows the
browser to process the complex ToolBed layout functionality.
The original safe ToolBedView
ActiveX plug-in is signed by ToolBed GmbH. |

The ToolBedView plug-in download page
will be started automatically if the missing
plug-in
is detected or
if an
update is available.
Click
on [Demo] on the menu bar or click
here
to start the 'ToolBedView Plug-in
Download' page manually.
Click on [Start Download].
Choose [run] or [open] in the installation
windows to continue the
download.
Follow the installation.
Reboot the
Computer after the installation of an update.
Click on [Demo] to check the installation.

Click
on [demo] on the menu bar. A virtual ToolBed at
a preset demo size will appear if the ToolBedView plug-in is installed properly.
Click on [+] to the
left next to a 'demo tool' item number to paste the appropriate tool contour in the
middle of the ToolBed. The active tool
contour will be highlighted.
Click on the tool
contour to move it to any place within the
ToolBed while keeping the left button of your mouse pressed.
Click on the icons to
the right of the ToolBed for additional functions. From the top:
change of grid, turn of active
tool, erase active tool, zoom in, change colour.
The required
ToolBed type (height) and individual size can be chosen to the
customers specs using the full version as a logged in user. |

To select the correct tool contour from the database, it is necessary
to know the tool manufacturer and the item number.
Click [Start Search] after typing the
first digits in the input box to view
the
pre-filtered item numbers. The more letters you type in, the
easier you will find the item number you are looking for. |
